Smart Keypad for even more comfort

The Keypad is the ideal addition for the smart locks tedee GO and tedee PRO and allows the user to open the door without using a smartphone by entering a five- to eight-digit access code. There are two ways to install the Keypad near the smart door locks in front of the front door on the door frame: The Keypad can be mounted either using the adhesive surface already attached or with the screws included in the scope of delivery. 

The tedee Keypad is water- and dust-resistant according to IP65 protection class, so that even bad weather won’t be a problem. An integrated backlight for the individual keys also makes it easier to use in the dark. A small LED as well as a sound signal draw attention to various events, for example, a green light and a short sequence of beeps appear when the PIN has been entered correctly. The Keypad communicates with the smart tedee locks GO and PRO via a secure Bluetooth connection, so all data is saved on the tedee GO or tedee PRO lock. For even more control, all events of the keypad can be monitored in the activity log of the tedee app.

Welcome guests contactlessly
So instead of hiding a physical key under the door mat for the next guest or cleaner, the app can be used to generate one-time access codes for the duration of the particular stay. Keyless access with the smart Keypad is also a practical relief for rental property managers. Up to 100 One-time access codes can be assigned remotely without the need for direct contact with the guest and without the guest having to use a smartphone to open the door.
