With the Nanoleaf Smart Spot, the simplest form of light source becomes a very special experience in everyday life. The multi-faceted LED lamp in a modern design provides a choice of over 16 million different colors. Individual creations and moods can be created with the Smart Spot. In addition, the smart lamp can automatically adjust the color temperature of the lights throughout the day (circadian lighting) to increase comfort and productivity and complement natural light. Custom programs can be created in the Nanoleaf app so that sunny yellow tones play when you wake up, for example.
The smart LED lamp can be controlled via Bluetooth or voice commands and supports the Thread communication protocol. It requires a compatible router for this, such as the HomePod mini. Thread compatibility ensures short latency with improved connection reliability and range. Thread is a fast, low-power wireless mesh networking technology and is designed to optimize the smart home experience. In addition, the Smart Spot is compatible with Matter via Thread: the new smart-home standard enables integration with many smart-home systems, as well as screen mirroring, use of the Nanoleaf desktop app, voice control, schedules and remote access. Matter requires a Matter-compatible smart home hub and a Thread border router.
