The Satechi Thunderbolt 5 CubeDockâ„¢ with SSD Enclosure expands modern Mac and Thunderbolt workstations with additional ports for displays, data transfer, networking, and local storage. The desktop docking station combines Thunderbolt 5 connectivity with integrated SSD expansion and acts as a central interface for peripherals, external displays, and storage solutions at stationary workstations.

The CubeDock connects to the computer via the Thunderbolt 5 host port and supports data transfer rates of up to 80 Gbps and notebook charging power of up to 140 watts. Three additional Thunderbolt 5 ports expand connectivity for additional devices and enable multi-display workstations with high-resolution monitors. The dock is housed in a ventilated aluminum enclosure with integrated active cooling, allowing internal components to operate stably even at high data transfer rates.

With a total of 12 ports, a wide variety of peripheral devices can be integrated into a work environment. Additional USB-C and USB-A ports enable data transfers at up to 10 Gbit/s and support charging of connected devices. An integrated SD and microSD card reader with UHS-II support enables transfer rates of up to 312 MB/s, while a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port supports wired network connections. A combined 3.5-millimeter audio jack enables audio input and output.

In addition, the CubeDock integrates an M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure with a PCIe 4x4 interface that supports compatible SSDs with capacities up to 8 terabytes. Data transfer rates of up to 6000 MB/s enable fast access to locally stored data. Power is supplied by an external 180-watt power supply that powers the dock, connected peripherals, and a connected notebook.
